Our first stop in Peru was in Cusco, the historic capital of Peru when the Incas were in power. Top photo is us overlooking part of Cusco, which is at 11,000 feet in elevation and located in a bowl. Next photo is us at Saosaywaman, an old citadel site of the Incas that was mostly destroyed by the Spaniards. The big rock in the right of the photo is estimated to weigh 350 tons. Next photo is Carla feeding a Llama. Final photo is me after a hike to the top of the lookout at Picaq. Lookout is at elevation 11,245 feet.
